Once again i am back after a long period of time with a very useful update which i got recently in my Wagon R.
As the title of this article suggests, it will not only will make the pickup equal to petrol but better than that. When this
change took place in my car, i got amazed to see and feel the awesome speed as i already had low speed on CNG
and even after going to mechanic and changing the advancer, significant change could not be done. Running the A/C
was impossible earlier on my Wagon r with CNG. If i used to press accelerator, nothing used to happen, i will have to
switch the A/C off to make my car move and the other option was to run on petrol which used to burn hole in my pocket
as i am a poor car owner with a salary of 12K INR only.
So i used to die in heat only in summers by turning off A/C and used to drive on CNG. One day we went to mechanic and told him the whole story, he said advancer needs to be changed and told the charges to be 700. He removed old
one and installed new advancer named as "Speed" and asked me to do a test drive. I drove and was really happy.
Pickup increased and car was now able to accelerate on A/C. This situation was better than previous one but later
i realised that still there is a need of increament as still there was difference of around 30% in pickup. On A/c, it used
to run, but acceleration used to take so much time to build speed.
So, i started online search again and found some articles which was telling about CNG pickup. One of the best article
i found was on Mouthshut Dot Com and has been written by Amit, i found exactly same article on one more website,
dont rememebr it's name. Probably, one got copied from other. Anyways, the guy has very well explained about CNG
installation and it's tuning and pickup as well. He also stated that there will always be some loss of power on CNG as
compared to petrol. I tried to modify my car's CNG system after reading that and resulted into totally loss of power, after messing with system from 3-4 days, i rectified same and understood how actually the system works. You

"How to Adjust Pickup On CNG". Additionally, after reading same article i increased RPM a little and saw a little change in pickup but it was negatively
affecting mileage. So i removed changes made.
My research continued and after reading somewhere i found that there are 3
types of advancers, the cheap one are sold below 1000 INR and gives low pickup (Like one installed in my car), the middle one's details i dont remember and the top one was costing 3000 INR and was branded one(Lovato/Tomasetto Achille). So,
one day when i visited my local mechanic for emulator changing, i asked him about same and he said good emulators cannot be installed in this car,
they are made for newer versions of wagon r, which is 2010 and above models which have Kappa Engine and when i asked about lovato advancer,
he said they comes with Kit only and are not sold separately. So i confirmed pickup can't be increased more than this? He was quite busy in his work and said "No" as if he is not interested.
One day he drove my car and said that it is depressing a lot. I said for the same i came to you that day. He said, there is one new Avon Advancer which has newly arrived, after installing same it will run good even on A/c.
And he recommended to install in summers stating that A/c will be required
at that time only, i said if it can run car effectively on A/c then it must make change driving it normally as well, so why dont you install it now, he agreed and asked me to come next weekend as he was not having same at that time.
Advancer cost was 750, but when he came to know that my salary got increased by 550 rupees only and now i am earning only 14k, he said ok, you only give 600, i was happy. Earlier he used to think that i earn 35-40k.
Anyways, next weekend in the morning i went to him, after waiting for 1 hour, my turn came and he installed advancer after making some settings
in it and he also replaced wires which connect to it. After doing all this he asked me to check and set me free, when i started and drove, i got shocked
to see the speed of car, it got doubled. It was looking as if i am flying, even
very small pressure on accelerator was making the car to run very fast that i had to apply brakes to stop it. Experience was really awesome like heaven.
And i was extremely happy, even petrol pickup was nothing in front of CNG.
CNG defeated petrol. Now i can drive easily on A/c as well, but it presses engine a bit. All this happened because of Avon Advancer, so get it installed
in your car and you will forget petrol pickup. In case you are not able to get it
