Dear friends, today i am going to tell you about an important software which has helped me for years. It's name is face off max. I am using this software for many years. This has helped me in creating morphed pictures easily and quickly, unlike the very popular worldwide "Photoshop".
This tool is easy to use and can produce lots of pictures within minutes. I will write my review upon face off max and will try to make you understand, how this software works. So lets start.

Easy interface and using guide: simple process leads to amazing results
Creating a perfect funny photo is amazing. What is even more amazing is you can do it in a simple and intuitive way. The intuitive interface lets you know at the first glance how to achieve what you want with Face Off Max. The considerate Face Off Max service supporters also provide detailed using instruction which will accompany with you till the end of your creating. You just need to follow the wizard and then everything is done. However, although the process is simple, the results can be fantastic. After several stages of photo editing, your photo will look as natural as it should be
How to use Face off max-
Step 1: Pick a body-This is very first step which you will find in this software. Let me explain what is it.
You will have to choose the body on which you want to put your face. At this step, you will be provided with two options. You can either use, built in image templates which contains lots of images of superheros, tv stars, celebrities and the like. Alternatively, you can use picture from your computer as well. Just browse and select the picture, as we usually do, just like attaching document in mail.
Step 2: Select the face Picture
After selecting the body, you will have to select face picture which you wants to put on that body. Here 3 options are available, face library-which consists of library of images already given, picture file-using which you can select your own image and webcam-using which you can take your own picture
Here you will have to pay attention by finding out the face which matches the body. The matching should possess following 2 qualities:
1. It should be of similar complexion
2. It should be of similar pose and angle.
The more these these 2 qualities will match, the more real morphed image you will obtain.
Step 3:Select the Head |
On this step, please roughly select the head area.
1: Click on the selecting box icon given and start dragging mouse after clicking the button, so as to select face area only.
2: Adjust the size of the head area by
dragging on the selecting box.
Make sure the box is bigger than the face.
After that click "Next" button to continue or
"Previous" button to go back.

Step 4:Disclose the face
At this step, you may need to adjust the brush size depending upon the ratio of face and brush size. After adjusting the size, press the mouse button and start dragging.
In case, by mistake you have disclosed more face than required, you can rectify same by pressing eraser button and then again moving that brush on the face portion where excess disclosure have been made.
In case, you have been stuck and want to reset the face, you may use the reset button given on the screen. This will turn your image into as it was earlier, i mean, when you reached this step.
Similarly, you can use "undo" and "redo" buttons given, which works like MS Office applications.
After you get fully satisfied with your image, click next to proceed further.
At this step, you may need to adjust the brush size depending upon the ratio of face and brush size. After adjusting the size, press the mouse button and start dragging.
In case, you have been stuck and want to reset the face, you may use the reset button given on the screen. This will turn your image into as it was earlier, i mean, when you reached this step.

Step 5:Sizing, Placing and Rotating
Sizing: The first step we need to take at this step is to adjust the size of the selected face, so that it may fit the body appropriately. The better you will re-size it, better output you will get. You can make this adjustment by moving four dots at the corners of the rectangle containing face. You should do so, by placing the picture on the right place of body.
Placing: Put the mouse pointer on the center of face, hold down the mouse button and drag the face onto the right place of the body.
Rotating: Just like re-sizing, rotating is also important to properly fit the body to the face. Put the mouse pointer on the top circle on the box around the face, hold down the mouse button and move the mouse right or left, depending upon the requirement of picture to rotate the face.
Now, we did the basic task of this step. Coming to explain the additional options given here:-
Flip Horizontal-
As the name suggests, this option will be used to flip your face picture horizontally. This will move the picture left or right, and will make a mirror image. This option is very useful in-case you are not able to find proper posing face picture. For example, if you require, little bit rightward facing image and you are not able to find it but you found little bit leftwards facing image, you can select it without hesitating, as this option will turn it into properly matching image.
Flip Vertical-
This option is to flip the face vertically. As the icon suggests, it is used to flip the image upside down. It is similar to flip horizontal option, the only difference is that it moves it up-down instead of left right.
Zoom In-
Zoom Out
Scale Down option is used to reduce the size of whole image. It is similar to zoom out option
Scale Up option is used to increase the size of whole image. It is similar to zoom in option.
Optimal Scale tool is used to restore the original screen fit size in one click. It provides best view where everything will be visible properly.
Finally, you can click "Next" button to continue or "Previous" button to go back.
Placing: Put the mouse pointer on the center of face, hold down the mouse button and drag the face onto the right place of the body.
Rotating: Just like re-sizing, rotating is also important to properly fit the body to the face. Put the mouse pointer on the top circle on the box around the face, hold down the mouse button and move the mouse right or left, depending upon the requirement of picture to rotate the face.
Now, we did the basic task of this step. Coming to explain the additional options given here:-

This tool is used to increase the size of face picture as if er are zooming in into it. It is used to increase size of face image.
Zoom Out
This is opposite to zoom in and is used to reduce size of image, in case it is larger.
Scale Down option is used to reduce the size of whole image. It is similar to zoom out option
Scale Up option is used to increase the size of whole image. It is similar to zoom in option.
Optimal Scale tool is used to restore the original screen fit size in one click. It provides best view where everything will be visible properly.
Finally, you can click "Next" button to continue or "Previous" button to go back.
Step 6:Final Trimming & Placing
On this step, you can finally trim and place the face.
After reaching this step, immediately start removing excess face, the like we did in step 4
Now select paint option and adjust the excess removed face.
Brush size may be reduced, if required.
Here you will find some additional tools,other than those mentioned earlier, like-
Rotate Left- This is used to rotate your face image counterclockwise
Rotate Right- Similar to rotate left, just rotates image in clockwise direction.
Rotate Left 90 degree- Rotates the image to the left side by 90 degree
Rotate Right 90 degree- Rotates the image to the right side by 90 degree
Rotate 180 degree- Rotates the image to 180 degree, that is upside down.
Move Options(Left, Right, Up, Down)-
This option is used to move the image in any direction, to fit the body.
Zoom in and Zoom out options are also there, regarding which we already have discussed.
After finalizing, click next to continue.
Skin Matching Stage 1
Move the "Darker/Lighter" slider to
adjust the darkness/lightness of the Face.
Move the "Softer/Sharper" slider to adjust the softness or sharpness of the Face.
After reaching this step, immediately start removing excess face, the like we did in step 4
Now select paint option and adjust the excess removed face.
Brush size may be reduced, if required.
Here you will find some additional tools,other than those mentioned earlier, like-
Rotate Left- This is used to rotate your face image counterclockwise
Rotate Right- Similar to rotate left, just rotates image in clockwise direction.
Rotate Left 90 degree- Rotates the image to the left side by 90 degree
Rotate Right 90 degree- Rotates the image to the right side by 90 degree
Rotate 180 degree- Rotates the image to 180 degree, that is upside down.
Move Options(Left, Right, Up, Down)-
This option is used to move the image in any direction, to fit the body.
Zoom in and Zoom out options are also there, regarding which we already have discussed.
After finalizing, click next to continue.
Skin Matching Stage 1
There are three stages for Skin Matching. On each stage, move
the sliders to make the skin tone of the Face exactly match the skin tone of the
Body.
Move the "Softer/Sharper" slider to adjust the softness or sharpness of the Face.
You can also choose "Gray Channel" option to adjust the image in black/white way.
You can also use + and - buttons to zoom in and out to the image to have better view.
Reset button will be used to restore the original
picture.
Then click "Next" button to continue or
"Previous" button to go back.
Skin Matching Stage 2
This is the second stage of Skin Matching. You will see the image in green shadow here.Adjust the image like we did in previous stage to match tone/colour etc. and move towards next step.
Skin Matching Stage 3
This is the third stage of Skin Matching. Here you will be presented your image in blue shadow.Move the sliders to
make the skin tone of the Face exactly match the skin tone of the Body.
Because red, green and blue are three primary colours and all other colours are made by them only, that is why we are presented with these 3 shadows.

Then click "Next" button to continue or
"Previous" button to go back.
The Final Touches!
Here at the top, you will see 3 sliders-cooler/warmer, less colour/more colour and darker/lighter as shown in picture below.
Adjust the "Cooler/Warmer" slider to match the skin color of the Face with the Body. | ||||||||||||
Then click "Next" button to continue or
"Previous" button to go back.
Tip:- You can directly move to "Final touches" option without working on 3 skin match stages. I am using this tool for years and my personal experience says that you can skip directly to final touches option. I only use skin match stages in extreme circumstances where the complexion of source and destination image is odd. This will save your efforts and time and don't worry about morph quality, it will not be reduced at all.
At the next stage, you will be presented with 3 options-add text, add balloon and remove
At this step, you can add a text to your image.-It may be your name or a similar text.
In order to add text, click "add text" button, select font, size, colour, shadow and stroke as per your wish and write the text in the box.
Add Balloon: You can add a balloon behind the text you added. Click "Add Balloon" button,
and select one from the balloons given. You can also add pictures from
your computer. Here only png files are supported.You can move the balloon anywhere on the screen by clicking on it and dragging, you can change it's size using the four dotted corners and you may also move it clockwise/anticlockwise, just we did with our face picture previously. You can add text above balloon by using add text option.
Remove tool can be used to remove both text and balloon, just click on the text/balloon, it will be highlighted and after that you can select remove to remove it.
Click on finished.
Final Step
Congratulations! You have finished your work!
Now the picture is ready to be exported and our task of editing is over now. Here you will be provided with following options-
