Philips MMS 4040F Review

Hello friends, today i am going to share my personal experience with Philips MMS 4040f speaker system. So if you are looking to buy them, and need more information regarding them, then you are at right place. Even i look for reviews before purchasing any product, as it helps in determining what kind of product it really is. I did not purchased few products, after reading so many negative reviews about them.

So, lets start with our product Philips MMS 4040f speaker system. I purchased them about one month back from nehru place at 2000 inr as box was broken, remote control was cracked and no accessory was there in box. It's mrp is 3100.

Features:
1. Remote controlled, can be controlled with set too
2. FM
3. USB
4. Memory card slot (adapter required )
5. Bass control

I use it with my blu ray player, but it can also be connected with pc/ laptop too, using additional cable, which is not given with set. It has 2 audio inputs and two audio outputs (the white and red pin slot for audio cables).

Now coming to the main point, which is sound quality, i would like to say, sound quality is good. And output is very high 4000 watts. this set is a bit fancy too.It produces nice treble over which you dont have any control. It's bass is low as compared to my old creative inspire T3100. When i heard it's reviews on various sites like amazon, snapdeal etc. Everyone said that sound quality is nice and bass is thundering. But really speaking, it's bass is bad, even after having huge main. I did not understand, what it's 5 inch woofer is doing then????
My creative inpire t3100 also has 5 inch woofer and much smaller box but it's bass is thrice better.

As i have had built habit of creative, this new set is looking weird. But creative dont possess treble which is also one of the important component of audio, which makes it win over creative.

Today i realised that some songs which used to make my room vibrate, hardly did anything. That really disappointed me and made me post ad on quikr and olx.
Now you will think that why did i purchase them then????
The answer is false user reviews, brand name and a discount of 1000 rupees. And when i saw demo, they played it so loud that awesome bass was coming.

So, if you want to suggest a good speaker system, at low price, most welcome and kindly comment.

Conclusion:
So, if you are an ordinary person and loves music, go for it, but if you are hardcore music lover and bassaholic like me, dont buy, buy creative instead.
